Falling Waters Winery has a summer concert schedule with wines available for purchase by the glass or bottle. Fridays, June 26-September 4 from 5:00-8:30 pm. 721 Dyer St., Crivitz: 715-854-5010

The DeYoung Family Zoo is a one of a kind experience. They were featured on National Geographic's show My Life is a Zoo. Nothing beats the up close and personal encounter as you are allowed to touch and hold baby animals, witness giant tigers get fed, and see extremely rare and precious animals. May hours are Tuesday – Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Summer Hours and Programs start on Memorial Day 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Zoo is closed November - March. N5406 County Road 577, Wallace, MI (a 45 minute drive on County Road X due East to Rt 180 and turn left. Follow to JJ and turn right, crossing into Micgigan. It's a right hand turn not far ahead.)

Vacationland Fun Park has go-karts, bumper boats, bumper cars, mini golf, and arcade games. There is a combination tickets that saves a good deal of money, but you just have to ask for it specifically. W11375 Cty Hwy X: 715-757-2426

Peshtigo River Campground rents tubes to float down the Peshtigo River with. They offer a shuttle to the launch site and you float back to the campground anywhere from 2–4 hours later. $14 per person. You can also rent tubes for coolers and floating coolers (just don't bring any glass bottles. They have ice. Available for purchase. Load up on sunscreen! W7948 Airport Road, Crivitz: 715-854-2986

Family friendly movies are shown in the Littleland Playground in Crivitz Community Veterans Park. They begin at 9:00 sharp. Concessions are available for purchase. In case of weather, movies are held at the Crivitz High School at 8:15. Louisa Street between Henriette and Hall Avenue, downtown Crivitz: 715-854-2521

The Twin Bridge Water Ski Team performs every Thursday and Saturday night in the summer at 6:30 pm on High Falls Flowage. They were founded in 1971 and have about 50 members of all ages. They present a different and fun theme each year. Best viewed by lawn chair or towel at Stephenson Town Park, off Boat Landing 3 Road (near Popps, off X). The show includes high flying stunts, a 4-tier water pyramid, barefoot skiing, and more!

There is an annual Marinette County Breakfast on the Farm held late June at a different location each year. This year there were over 4,000 guests who were served some 3000 chugs of chocolate milk, 1000 chugs of white milk, 1000 pound of sausage, 300 gallons of ice cream, and much more. Attendees can eat and sample as well as learn about the agriculture, livestock, and the soil that supports the area farm. There is also a petting zoo, balloons, a bouncy play area, live music, and more. About $6 for adults and $4 for children.

Mid-June there's the Dockside Panfish & Fry Tournament. Enter by June 1st or just come to watch (a bucket of beers is around $8!) 2 person teams, about $35 per boat to enter. Great prize payouts. Runs 7:30 AM to 3 PM.

The Porterfield Country Music Festival, held toward the end of June for more than 30 years now, at Green Acres in Marinette. In runs more than a week in length and features many promising stars of country music, and a few headliners.

The annual Crivitz Fourth of July Parade is SENSATIONAL! The parade starts at 11 am and there is a Flea Market 9 am – 1:30 pm with many unique and fun vendors. The parade winds through downtown Crivitz and includes many local features and runs 75 – 90 minutes. Have the kids bring bags for collecting candy thrown by the floats. Arrive early to get a good viewing station.

Dockside has an annual FOAM PARTY in early August – you've got to see it to believe it. Check out their facebook page.

The Marinette County Fair is held the weekend before Labor Day at the Wausaukee Fair Grounds. The schedule is filled with carnival rides, 4-H programs, lawnmower and tractor pulls, animal judging, lots of music, a demolition derby – and of course, lots of food!

OctoberFest at the Crivitz Community Veteran's Park, geven Crivitz' Germany Ancestry, is a great event. German food, beer, wine, adult contests, bouncy Houses, face Painting, pumpkin decorating, and live music, with all proceeds benefiting the Crivitz Volunteer Fire Department. Typically held the third Saturday in September from 11 am – 11 pm

Mountain Winter Fest: this Fisharee is held on Chute Pond in nearby Mountain, WI. They have a Spin Wheel, a Meat Raffle, a heated tent with lots of food and beverages, the fishing contest and fireworks at dusk. Typically held the last weekend in January. Benefits their fire department. Mountain is about a 25 minute ride due west.

In late January, Fisher's Camp in Athelstane hosts an Ice Golf Outing on Caldron Falls Flowage. Registration starts 10:00AM, Tee off at 11:00AM. 4 people per team, about $40 per team, 100% payout. They have live music starting at 6 PM. Call 715-757-2207 or 715-927-0805 for more information.

Held late in February, on the ice of Lake Noquebay at the Timberline Resort on Cty Hwy GG in Crivitz, the Lake Noquebay Angler's Partnership Derby. They award 3 prizes in each of 7 fish categories with a raffle drawing for $1,000 late in the afternoon. They have a large tent and serve hot food with beverages. Contests and games throughout the day. Live music starts at 8 PM.

The Human Ice Bowling & Bed Race benefits the Town of Stephenson Volunteer Fire Dept. and is held at Thorntons Resort. There's a D.J. all day, a Meat Raffle, food and beverages and a warming tent. One member pushes other team member down the lane on a saucer to see how many inflated bowling pins they can knock down. For the Bed Races, one person sits on a bed mounted to skis, while the other teammates give the bed a mighty push downhill - teams race against another team. $5.00 per person per event and you may participate in both events. They provide the snow saucers and beds on skis. Sign your team up early. It's hilarious! Held in late February.

High Falls Fish-O-Rama, usually held the second Saturday in February on the ice at Boat Landing #3 offers games, raffles, food and drink in a large heated tent. There are snowmobile radar runs, an ice fishing derby and even an ice shack decorating contest. Proceeds benefit the Twin Bridge Water Ski Team.

Caldron Falls 16th Annual Fisheree/Radar Run held late in January (weekend varies year-to-year) offers a heated tent with food, beverages, and raffles. The Snowmobile and ATV Radar run is on a 900'snowpacked track, with a $100 cash for top speed, and a 100% payout for fishoree. The event benefits Town of Stephenson Volunteer Fire Dept. All trophies awarded after event at Thornton's Resort, Parkway Road.

Mid-March Dockside hosts a Bucket Golf outing. $5 per person, 4 person teams. They have Meat Raffles, Prizes, Drink Specials and more. It's a lot of fun and a boost to a dreary time of month.
